The Village of Chester will host a Classic Car and Boat Show on August 21st-22nd

The Chester Celebrates the Classic show will give visitors the opportunity to check out Classic Boats and Cars first hand. A classic boat race with schooners will be held on Saturday, August 21st and on Sunday, August 22nd there will Classic Cars parked around the Village core. Boats will be docked around the Village at the Rope Loft, Ferry Wharf, Chester Yacht Club, Stevens Boat Works, and Heisler's Marina.  The event will boast prizes and classic music from the 50's and 60's.

Admission is free.

Did you know that there is a FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE available to all residents and visitors to Chester on August 11th - 14th, and August 21st-22nd between the hours of 10AM-1PM and 5PM-8PM?

The Nova Scotia Bluenose Class Association is pleased to announce Tradewinds Realty Inc. is the Title Sponsor for the 2010 Maritime Bluenose Championships this weekend in Chester, Nova Scotia. Races on Saturday, August 21 and Sunday, August 22 will run under the title sponsor's name "TRADEWINDS REALTY MARITIME BLUENOSE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010".

The Tradewinds Realty Maritime Bluenose Championships 2010 are being hosted by the Chester Yacht Club (www.cyc.ns.ca), Chester, N.S. on Saturday August 21 and Sunday August 22, 2010. The

two days of racing will see over 30 Bluenose sloops from the Maritime Provinces vie for the championship in "White Sail" and "Spinnaker" class divisions.

Over the past few years, the Nova Scotia Bluenose Class Association has witnessed an increasing interest in the Bluenose Class sailing. The Association boasts an ever growing membership, an impressive sailing fleet and the fleet is poised to honour Nova Scotia's marine heritage.
