Summer Solstice After Hours Mixer att The Sadhana Centre, 71 Duke St, Chester

Hubbards Farmers' Market is now open for the season.  Located at the beautiful Hubbards Barn & Community Park, #57 Hwy 3 Hubbards, the market will run every Saturday until the end of October from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.

 Chester Train Station Gallery located at the Chester Visitor Information Centre is now open daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Check out the work of our talented South Shore artists.

Wednesday, June 12 

1st SESSION REGISTRATION FOR THE LIDO POOL SWIM LESSONS will take place at the Chester Area Middle School from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Lessons start June 24 for 3 weeks.  Cost $40 (payment requested at registration).  For more info call Viola 275-3465.

 Hubbards Community Waterfront Association AGM will be held on at the Hubbards Fire Hall starting 7:30 pm.  All are welcome!

 Saturday, June 15

 BREAKFAST at the District #1 Community Centre, Blandford, from 9:00 to 11:00 am.  Bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, baked beans, toast, juice, tea/coffee.  Adults $7 (HST included), Youth 5-12 $3.50 (HST included), and under 5 are FREE.  This will be the LAST BREAKFAST until October.

 COUNTRY JAMBOREE at the Little Red School, Canaan from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.  Local musicians.  Free admission, 50/50, Raffle Draws and lunch provided.

 St. Stephen's Anglican Church Lunch & Sale at the Parish Hall, Regent Street, Chester    from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Soup & Dessert Luncheon cost $7.00.  Baked goods, used books and indoor & outdoor plants. 

 Sunday, June 16

 CRIB TOURNAMENT at the Chester Legion starting 1:00 pm. 

 VOICES OF SPRING – a concert by Chester Brass and the South Chorale at St. Stephen's Church, Chester starting 3:00 pm.  Admission $15. 

 FATHER'S DAY SUPPER at the Forties Community Centre, 1787 Forties Road, New Ross.  Enjoy roast beef dinner with all the trimmings, pie, tea/coffee.  Doors open 4:00 pm and serving starts 4:30 pm.   Adults $ 11, Children (Ages 5-12) $5.50 and Children (under 5 years) $2.50.
