The Chester Municipal Chamber of Commerce operates and manages the Chester and Area Visitor Information Centre located at at the Old Train Station in Chester. The Chester Visitor Information is funded with the help of The Municipality of the District of Chester.

The Visitor Information Centres can provide tourists with a great deal of information to assist them with planning their vacation to the Chester and surronding communties.

The Chester & Area VIC is has helpful and knowledgeable staff who are willing to answer any question visitors may have. 

The Information Centre houses a wealth of information and is an invaluable resource for local and regional maps and brochures. All members of the chamber are encouraged to supply the VIC a good supply of brochures and 'rack' cards for your business each year for high visibility.  Chamber member brochures and rack cards are also used to fill our portable kiosk.

The VIC has wireless internet for visitors to use and is also home to the Chester Heritage Society run CAP Site.

This year the chamber has provided the VIC a portable kiosk to be used in the municipalty to display members brochures and rack cards and other tourism material.
